Solar thermal system (vacuum solar thermal panels) offers whole house
under-floor heating and pool heating system. The system covers approx. 65%
of the buildings' heating requirements, whilst the remainder is provided by
a high quality Austrian made heating system.
Biological processing plant - All household waste is processed and
recycled by a German made system. Water produced by the system is used for
irrigation, patio and car washing. Recycled water is also used to flush the
toilets. The sewage piping system infrastructure installed (not the typical
Cypriot systems) in combination with the biological plant, allows the
unthinkable in Cyprus - You can actually flush toilet paper.
Considering the modern design, the building offers high levels of thermal
insulation. Thermal plaster has been used both outside and inside the
building, whilst both floors, roofs have been thermally insulated. External
brick walls are cavity built with thermal insulation. Double glazing doors
and windows of high thermal value have also been specified.
